Has Jackson’s been ‘fostering’ is a gubernatorial run all along?

todayOctober 28, 2026

Background

Because he’s spent more than $115 million in a marketing campaign to catapult himself from ‘relative unknown super-rich guy’ to ‘the former foster child who wants you to believe he singularly overcame that to become that super-rich guy who singularly puts hundreds of foster kids through college’,’ Rick Jackson’s largely gotten a pass for something I’ve long been saying is “ick” about Rick.

He’s been using any well-intentioned benevolence and advocacy on his part to 1) scheme to convince Burt Jones to film a testimonial on Rick’s behalf then use it to run an attack ad against him and 2) give voters the impression he’s solely responsible for those foster kids having their tuition paid for.

It’s just … “ick.” But that’s Rick.

Rick who’d have us all believe he can singularly “fix” the state that his party’s controlled for three-plus decades.

Meanwhile, as I’ve said before, Rep. Mike Collins – running to unseat Senato Jon Ossoff – isn’t even particularly popular with Republicans, and the latest among them to say they won’t be voting for him is syndicated Georgia-based radio host Erick Erickson. Erick hawks Omaha Steaks on his show, but he’s not keen on “sh*t sandwiches.”
