Atlanta Jewish Film Festival returns with 65 films, global premieres
The 2026 Atlanta Jewish Film Festival will kick off Wednesday with a party and viewing of “Once Upon My Mother” at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center.
The 26th annual event will span nearly two weeks from Feb. 18 to March 15 with screenings, commentary and special appearances.
“The 26th annual festival marks a monumental moment as we both launch a full season of ATL Jewish Film programming, and begin our second quarter-century,” said Kenny Blank, executive and artistic director, in a news release. “Our films invite reflection, conversation, and connection long after the credits roll, and we’re proud to share them with audiences across Atlanta and throughout Georgia.”
The festival will feature films from 20 countries including 49 feature films and 16 short films. There will also be three world premieres, four North American premieres and seven regional premieres.
Other key events include Films Responding to the Aftermath of October 7, Young Professionals Night and Spotlight Screening of Sixty Six. “I Have Sinned,” “The Future Awaits” and “Proud Jewish Boy” will be screened at the event.
Festival goers may also see appearances from Jennifer Westfeldt, Jill Kargman, Matthew Shear, Nancy Spielberg and Regina Spektor.
