Melita Easters: a Georgia WIN for women’s rights
Melita Easters, executive director at the Georgia WIN List, joined us "At The Kitchen Table" recently.
Perhaps you’ve watched her a time or few on WAGA-TV / Fox 5 Atlanta’s “The Georgia Gang” – airing Sunday mornings at 8:30am. Or perhaps you’ve attended a forum she’s moderated or one-on-one with a profound thinker and/or author. Maybe you know her from her tireless work as executive director at the Georgia WIN List, an organization championing pro-choice women candidates.
Melita Easters joined us virtually “at the kitchen table” for a little background on both her and her organization, plus provides some keen insights into Georgia’s recent political history and where the state appears to be trending.

With an extensive background as an FM radio program director and broadcaster skilled in audio editing, voice acting, and commercials, Ron brings nearly three decades of radio experience to his show. The show covers Atlanta, metro Atlanta, Georgia, and national politics from a unique perspective—he's a self-described "run-of-the-mill Georgia-born gay progressive cat-dad realtor & talk show host". Ron frequently welcomes guests ranging from local activists to prominent national figures, including Marianne Williamson, Rep. Nikema Williams, actor Michael Kelly, and Sen. Shea Roberts.
