The ‘blue-nami,’ black women ascend & the blame game begins

With Tuesday’s resounding “blue tsunami,” both in Georgia and throughout the U.S., it’s hard not to stop and appreciate the 25-plus years of effort that has gone into that pinnacle moment by the likes of the Georgia WIN LIst and its executive director, Melita Easters. I invited her back to the show to give her and the organization its well-earned ‘bouquet.’

In the weeks leading up to Tuesday, Donald Trump implored his base to pretend that he was on the ballot. Democrats said the same to their base and independents, and it worked out well for them. So naturally, the narcissist-in-chief took to Truth Social and TV to dismiss the midterm bloodbath his party suffered having anything to do with him. Of course.
On the right, the blame-game begins. Conservative radio pundit Erick Erickson provided a lengthy list of reasons, and they all lead back to Trump – who Erickson didn’t back in 2024.
He used to be one of the few outliers in the MAGA-fied GOP. Well now, he’s gaining company.
